THE WAY
The God-Man in the Gospel of John

Nothing has benefited the human race more than the Incarnation of the Second Person of the Holy Trinity. In Jesus Christ, God became fully man while remaining fully God. St. John wrote his Gospel to proclaim the wonders and mysteries of this event.

Only because the Incarnation took place can humanity be reconciled to God, healed from the wounds of sin, transformed by divine grace, and granted eternal life.

In his Gospel, John records Christ's profound declaration: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). And John concludes his Gospel by explaining its purpose: “These things are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name” (John 20:31).

In this study, we will examine some of the "these things" John recorded to awaken and strengthen our faith, so that, believing in Christ, we may share in the divine life He came to give.
